Please visit ProjectWolf.org for details on the heinous crimes perpetrated against this Canus Lupus in the Wilds of the American West.
From their Mission Statement:

"Project Wolf is not a group, it’s a movement. We are dedicated to exposing and stoping the cruelty with which wolves are subjected on a regular basis."

I support this and other projects for the protection of Wildlife and especially those under terms of Protected Species and the Wolf is of this class of endangered species that is callously ignored in rights mostly in the Pacific Northwest.

Leading it’s neighbors by nearly two to one, Idaho hunters kill wolves and their pups in ways that are brutal. Young wolf Pups are sometimes found chained to the ground left to starve or hacked to pieces. More on this later.

"Jerry, you’re not doing it right."

Reblogged from stellar808

Peter d’Agostino

Jerry Howell would talk about being Peter’s assistant during a time when d’Agostino was doing bronze cast sculptures using plaster of Paris in the modeling steps prior to the bronze cast.

Jerry would say to me, "There was just something about the way he said it. I’d feel awful. It was one thing to get to work with someone you really admired and then feel like, somehow you’d failed them…even if it was over a simple thing like mixing plaster."

"Far be it from me to fuck up another man’s work of art."

Jerry Howell

Jerry was also an artist, photographer, instructor, sculptor and was an assistant to Peter d’Agostino. Howell had participated in one of Ray Johnson’s "Fly Over’s", this quote was about this Ray Johnson art event as a part of d’Agostino’s "Mapping Movement" as Jerry related it to me. Peter seems to still be producing art.

It would be good to speak with Peter again as we met in 1972 and recollect about Jerry Howell. Jerry would use his photographs and make composite drawings to effect a “panorama-like’ scene. It was remarkable work and very finely rendered drawings I was once privileged to see.

It’s been said, once Apple decided away from the “Lisa” computer, the idea was to choose a name for a type of Apple…from survey results it was said the “Macintosh” was the most popular Apple by consumer’s panels. The LISA acronym stood for Local Integrated Software Architecture. Also said to have been named after Steve Job’s daughter, Lisa Brennan-Jobs.
